FOUNDER
Latonya Black Gilliard is Vice President of Gilliard Media Group, LLC (GMG), based in Atlanta, GA. She is a North Carolina native. She is an author, actress, producer, Certified Nutritionist, and song stylist, with vocal recordings with various musicians and groups, including a European jazz group.
She is a producer of independent films, theatre and web content with GMG, a Production Company she co-owns with her husband, Carl Gilliard. Currently, they have an active Actors Intensive Class that meets weekly in Atlanta, GA, which has become the most sought after acting class in the area. She was a part of the inaugural National (now International) Black Theatre Festival in North Carolina, where she worked closely with the founder, Larry Leon Hamlin. She continues to direct and produce stage plays and encourages local playwrights to display their works through showcases and readings.

Always projecting her authentic self, she is constantly sought out for her advice and support, mostly by women. Her current book, I APOLOGIZE TO MY THYROID, is an insightful look into living with the consequences of medical treatment. As a Certified Nutritionist, she teaches and encourages others to be their own health advocate and to research what works best for their own bodies. Her book, WHAT YOUR MOMMA NEVER KNEW ABOUT MEN; A Guide to Creating Real-a-tionships, is a clever, commonsense guide that helps women master their feminine power. She is the owner of Limitless Life Coaching and Mentoring and Founder of the Sistars Workshop Party, where she helps transform mindsets and encourages women to Speak, Heal, and Shine.

CO-CREATOR
Carl Rousseau Gilliard is the President/CEO of the Gilliard Media Group, LLC (GMG), based in Atlanta, Georgia. GMG provides consulting, casting, media content creation, publishing, coaching and entertainment production services. His wife, Latonya Gilliard, serves as Vice President of Operations.
Carl is also the Co-Creator of the Bill Duke Media Foundation’s Youth Media Camp, a non-profit organization with a distinct emphasis on offering new media arts and financial literacy to inner city youth, ages 15 thru 18, in South Los Angeles, California. Carl is a graduate of Michigan State University, and a native of Detroit, Michigan, by way of Chicago, Illinois. Moving to California, he dove into acting and landed many television and film roles, which facilitated his masterful skills in networking and forming relationships that catapulted him into becoming extremely well-respected in the industry.
Carl has numerous film credits, including: Inception (Warner Bros),
Red Eye (DreamWorks), Coach Carter (Paramount), and many television credits, including: Shameless, Greys Anatomy, Amazon’s The Last Tycoon, & FBI: Most wanted just to name a few. Mr. Gilliard is presently recurring on the hit action/drama, The Family Business, now streaming on BET+. Carl has appeared in dozens of independent short and feature films. He is also the Creator, Writer, Executive Producer and Star of the HIT digital series, Two Degrees NOW streaming on The Brick TV.
Carl is an accomplished NAACP Theater Award nominated Producer and Director. He produced and directed, Setion 8, Power Couple Struggle, and Peace Be Still in Los Angeles. Carl coproduced and developed the highly successful, Things That Make Men Cry and “STEEL MAGNOLIAS with the FCBC Repertory Company, the drama ministry at Faithful Central Bible Church that he founded in 2006 and led for 10 years.
